Steve McCarthy
Director of Christian Education
Steven McCarthy grew up in the beautiful, rainy state of Washington. He attended Concordia University Irvine and graduated with honors as a Director of Christian Education with a minor in Global Cultural Studies. He’s passionate about making Christian disciples of all ages and teaching them about Jesus, especially in an outdoor setting. His job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 5th-6th grade confirmation, 7-8th grade youth ministry, community service and outreach, disaster relief, men’s ministry, and young adult ministry. In his free time, Steve loves to get outside and spend time with his wonderful wife Marjorie. He has more hobbies than he can keep track of: gardening, trail running, biking, hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, ultimate Frisbee, weight lifting, reading, playing piano, and video games.
