Worship Services at Hope Lutheran Church

Hope is a congregation that seeks to be an inviting and friendly worshiping community. We value our Lutheran heritage, and each service follows a liturgical format, including the celebration of Holy Communion. Children are invited to share in a special message designed just for them at each service.

We currently offer three worship services each weekend where we receive God’s wondrous gifts through His Word and Sacraments. Online worship services are available weekly.

Regular Weekly Worship Services

On Saturdays at 5:30 PM, we offer a contemporary worship service featuring songs led by Hope’s Praise Band. This service is not live-streamed.

On Sundays at 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM, we hold traditional worship services featuring many of the great hymns of our faith. These services are live-streamed on YouTube.

Please take a moment to check in for worship using the Realm Connect App. If you need help with your Realm account, please email Briana Evans at

Installation Service- Rev. Devin Murphy

Come worship with us on Saturday, March 7, 1:00 PM as we celebrate the installation of Pastor Devin Murphy as the Senior Pastor of Hope Lutheran Church. This beautiful service will be a time of thanksgiving, prayer, and celebration as we officially welcome Pastor Devin into this role and give thanks for God’s continued work in our church community. We would be honored to have you join us for this joyful moment in the life of our church as we gather together to celebrate this new chapter in ministry at the service as well as the reception following.

Lent & Easter Holiday Services – 2026

Lent and Easter are a powerful journey we take together as a church family. Beginning 40 days before Easter, Lent invites us to slow down, reflect, and refocus our hearts on Christ. It’s a season of honesty, repentance, and hope — and it leads us to the incredible joy of Easter morning. Each service along the way helps us walk that story — from ashes to resurrection.

Lenten Services & Meals

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner: 5:30–6:45 PM (Tuesday before Ash Wednesday) – On the evening before Lent begins, we gather for a joyful pancake dinner together. Shrove Tuesday is a long-standing Christian tradition marking the final day before the Lenten season begins. It’s a fun, welcoming way to enjoy fellowship as a church family before entering a more reflective season.

Ash Wednesday: 6:30 PM – Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent and occurs 40 days before Easter (not counting Sundays). During this meaningful service, ashes are placed on our foreheads as a reminder of our need for repentance and the forgiveness Christ freely gives. Holy Communion is celebrated as we begin this sacred journey together.

Lenten Soup & Sandwich Supper: 5:30–6:15 PM (Wednesdays During Lent) – Before our midweek services, we gather for a simple meal of soup and sandwiches. It’s a relaxed time to connect, share conversation, and ease into the evening before worship. These meals are a meaningful part of the Lenten rhythm at Hope.

Midweek Lenten Services: Wednesdays at 6:30 PM – Each Wednesday between Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday, we gather for simple, reflective worship centered on Scripture and prayer. These services offer a midweek pause — a chance to slow down, refocus, and walk intentionally toward the cross.

Palm Sunday: Regular Weekend Worship Times – Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week as we remember Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Palms are distributed, and our children lead a joyful palm processional during worship, reminding us of the crowds who cried out “Hosanna!” It is both celebratory and reflective, as the week quickly turns toward the cross.

Maundy Thursday: 6:30 PM – On this night during Holy Week, we remember Jesus’ Last Supper with His disciples and the gift of Holy Communion. As we hear His command to love one another, the service invites us into reflection, humility, and gratitude.

Good Friday: 7:30 PM – Good Friday is a solemn service that walks through the story of Christ’s suffering and crucifixion. Through Scripture, hymns, and moments of growing darkness, we reflect on the depth of Jesus’ sacrifice and the love that carried Him to the cross.

Easter Sunday Services

Sunrise Service: 6:45 AM (Outdoors in the Traffic Circle) – We begin Easter morning outside as the sun rises, celebrating the victory of light over darkness. This peaceful gathering is a beautiful way to proclaim together that Christ is risen.

Traditional Communion Services: 8:00 AM & 11:00 AM (Sanctuary) – These liturgical services include Scripture, prayer, hymns, and Holy Communion as we rejoice in the resurrection. Together, we celebrate the promise of new life in Christ.

Baptism Service: 9:30 AM (Sanctuary) – What better day to celebrate new life than Easter? During this special service, we give thanks for the gift of Baptism and the resurrection hope that shapes our lives.

Children’s Service with Communion: 9:30 AM (Children’s Center) – Designed especially for families with young children, this engaging and interactive service shares the Easter message in a meaningful, age-appropriate way while celebrating Communion together.

Children’s Service: 11:00 AM (Children’s Center) – This second children’s service provides another opportunity for families to worship in a kid-friendly environment focused on the joy and celebration of Easter.
Join Us — In Person or Online
We would love for you to join us in person as we walk through Lent and celebrate Easter together. Whether you come for a quiet midweek service, the palm processional on Palm Sunday, or the joy-filled celebration of Easter morning, there is a place for you here.

For those unable to attend in person, Ash Wednesday, all Midweek Lenten services, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Traditional Easter Sunday services (8:00 AM and 11:00 AM) are live-streamed. The Sunrise Service and Children’s Services are not live-streamed.

Wherever you worship — in the sanctuary, outside at sunrise, or from home — we gather around the same good news: Christ has died. Christ is risen. Christ will come again.
